For Sale

Look what's in our yard!!!!!!!

Quick update

That's all I seem to be posting about lately....quick updates here and there. We have most of our computer stuff packed up so I can't post pictures.
So our quick update is that the realtor is coming by today to put the house on the market.
We will also be scouting properties for our new location soon.
Everyone came down with a bad head cold last week. I'm the last one to go through it and am starting to feel better. Into the rough coughing phase....no fun!

Hubby and I celebrated our 13th anniversary yesterday. God blessed me with such a wonderful husband!!
We continue to pray for a quick sale!

Back home!

The painter arrived Monday morning and finished this afternoon! What a bright, clean looking house :) Now we tidy up and organize to get pictures done for the listing, and get this house on the market!!
We had a nice week at my brother and sister-in-law's house while the painter was working hard. Thank you for the stay!

Paint!

Painter is coming in the morning. Hopefully by the end of the week, we will have a brand new looking house :) Off to spend some time with family so we don't have to smell the paint fumes!!!

Also had such a wonderful visit with our 2 sets of neighbors tonight. We are sure going to miss both of them!

First tooth

Some exciting news tonight. As daddy was brushing our boys' teeth, he comes running to me saying that his tooth is really, really loose. Sure enough, it was ready to come out, but our boy did not want it pulled! After some coaxing and tears, he let mommy play with it for a minute or two, and out it popped. A very happy boy after the fact.......and a mommy who has yet another child growing up all too fast!

Short update

I have little to update. We are still moving stuff to storage, which is almost at full capacity now :) This weekend, we are getting as much moved out as possible for the painter to come. He will hopefully have our house looking brand new by the end of next week!! Then onto the market! With 5 weeks to go before our start date....we still have much to do!

movin, movin, movin....

We are starting to move boxes into our storage unit. We are seriously trying to declutter the house as much as possible. We had the movers come by this week for an estimate....whoa! We had the realtor come by with a to-do-list of improvements for selling....double whoa! And the painter should be coming by this afternoon for an estimate to paint several rooms....(I don't even want to think about it!!! WHOA!)
I don't know how God is going to work this all out, but I have faith that He already has :) Our God is so good and I continue to see His blessings on our lives. He has always seen us through every situation and I know He will continue to do so. We look forward to the great things He has in store for us.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers. The sale of our house and a place to move into are our biggest prayer requests at the moment. I want to see God do some great things....to show Himself marvelous. In this type of economy, heading into the down season of home sales, it is only He who can bring the right buyer to us, especially in the short amount of time we have to move! I look forward to what is going to happen............

Where have I been?

I have not disappeared, well I have disappeared between the numerous boxes that are cluttering my house at the moment! Our official announcement is.....we are moving!! Out of state! Hubby has accepted a job offer and we will be heading out mid September. I have been packing like mad and trying to clean....we really need to get the house on the market soon! We are asking for prayer that our house will sell quickly and the Lord will provide a home for us to move into. Things need to happen very quickly and we know that God is in control of the whole situation. We are excited to see what God has in store for us :)
