Almost a walker

Baby girl started this a few days ago.  Now she is quick fast at it but still hangs on.  She likes to let go while standing still but she is getting close to walking unassisted!!  Just a few more days and our girl will be one year!!!

Growing up

Air Force Museum

Mom and Dad are visiting this week so hubby took a couple days off for some fun field trips!  Monday we went and visited the the U.S. Air Force Museum in Dayton, OH which is the world's largest and oldest military aviation museum with more than 360 aircraft on display.  The museum has several Presidential aircraft, including those used by Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry Truman, and Dwight D. Eisenhower.  On display are aircrafts from the early years by the Wright Brothers, from WWI, WWII, Korean War, Southeast Asia War, Cold War, as well as missiles and spacecraft.  We had such fun!

2 years gone

Vitamin B17

So I thought I would share my next tidbit of info concerning cancer.  Vitamin B17!!!  Where do we find Vit b17 that KILLS cancer cells??  In the seeds of our fruit!  Eat your apple seeds.  Break open the pits of your apricot, peach, cherry, plum pits and eat the kernels inside them.  Apricot seeds have the highest concentration of Vit b17.  So don't throw away those seeds next time!  They're bitter but they are good for you!!!

Her new thing to do

Baby girl is now 11 months old.  We are excited about a birthday next month!!  It will be a fish theme....very cute!  Her new thing to do is shake her head 'yes'.  She also babbles alot always ending with her voice going up high...so funny.  She smiles and laughs alot and has such a loving and bubbly personality so far.  She is now pulling herself up to stand but no steps yet.  Still only has 2 teeth...what's up with that???  She is definitely not following the same teething patterns of her siblings.  They all had a mouthful by now while she has 2 pearly whites on the bottom.  The video is her shaking her head yes to my questions :)

House hunting and gardening

We went to look at another house today.  It was a great deal, had lots and lots of room in it, nice hardwood flooring (needed to be refinished), huge basement, beautiful property....needed some work done on it like new carpeting, painting, nice long driveway off the road (4.7 acres).....but it was right across the street from a middle school, they are going to be doing construction soon to make it 4 lanes....it is a foreclosure and they are taking bids for the next several days and then picking a winner.  There was just something that I wasn't happy about.  I didn't LOVE it.  It was nice, had lots of potential but I didn't love it.  Ho hum....will we ever find a place.

Since a new house doesn't look like it is in the near future and we really want to try gardening this year....I came across this!  I think we may try it this way!  We have attempted a hanging garden which didn't work, so maybe this might be the answer.  I'm excited to see what will come of this!

Not a whole lot new going on here.  Seems it's been quite slow around the house lately which I don't mind at all!!!  The kids are busy trying to finish up their school year.  Everyone is healthy and we pray it stays that way!!!  The snow is really coming down today....very pretty outside, even for someone who doesn't like the snow :)  Hubby will be heading for an appointment to check on his throat.  We will be scheduling surgery probably around April???  Maybe a little later.  He has done so well this time around (it's been a year since his last surgery)...and I think it has to do with detoxing.  I've read that autoimmune diseases can be triggered by metals/toxins in our body.  I believe he has high levels of mercury in him from years ago, so he has detoxed twice now which may be what has stretched out his surgery length this time around.

I've also been doing a lot of reading and research lately on health.  I have a neat little tid bit of info to share with you (which has gotten some laughs).  The same hormone that is triggered in pregnancy (hCG) is the same hormone that is triggered in our bodies when we have cancer.  No kidding!!!  HCG can be detected in your body up to 2 years before you have the symptoms of cancer.  I encourage you all (men!!!!) to go and try out this simple test.  You need to get a pregnancy test that detects the lowest amount of hCG (here are the brands to look for.... E.P.T, First Response, Clearblue)  Hubby went a little bug-eyed when I told him this, but he took his test and it was negative!!  There are lots of articles out there to back this up......(it can detect testicular, ovarian, lung, pancreatic, stomach cancers)  I have been reading a fantastic book by a Christian man who lost 7 family members to cancer.  It is called Cancer: Step Outside the Box.  Anyone interested in curing cancer naturally....this is a must read!!!  It is also for prevention as well.

So I just won $25 towards any items at Deborah & Co. (her website button is located on the left hand side of my blog).  How exciting!!!!  I think I may look at those little tees you wear under your shirt.  Love it!

On another note, I want to warn everyone NOT to shop at Sears!!  They are not out for customer satisfaction.  Long story, but I'm very, very disappointed with them.  They want to charge us for their mistake.  Hopefully we can get this resolved but I won't be buying any big purchases from there again!!

Ok, now off to window shop at Deborah & Co......yay!
