Bridal shower

I was a little disappointed the cake turned out so simplictic. I had bigger plans for it, but since I only had a few hours in the evening to make it, I guess it will just have to stay this way :) Her wedding colors are rose petal pink and ivory. Well, off to clean house!

    I love it! Simplicity is always beautiful! I am sure they loved it!! Are he roses buttercream or fondant? You make beautiful roses...if only I could!

    The cake looks really nice Alissa. I agree you make great looking roses. I trust everyone will have a wonderful time at the shower today. Does everyone have family staying with them? Have fun.

    The roses are fondant. They are so much easier to do using fondant (on a lollipop stick) than trying to remove a buttercream rose off the nail onto the cake!
