We are starting to move boxes into our storage unit. We are seriously trying to declutter the house as much as possible. We had the movers come by this week for an estimate....whoa! We had the realtor come by with a to-do-list of improvements for selling....double whoa! And the painter should be coming by this afternoon for an estimate to paint several rooms....(I don't even want to think about it!!! WHOA!)
I don't know how God is going to work this all out, but I have faith that He already has :) Our God is so good and I continue to see His blessings on our lives. He has always seen us through every situation and I know He will continue to do so. We look forward to the great things He has in store for us.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers. The sale of our house and a place to move into are our biggest prayer requests at the moment. I want to see God do some great things....to show Himself marvelous. In this type of economy, heading into the down season of home sales, it is only He who can bring the right buyer to us, especially in the short amount of time we have to move! I look forward to what is going to happen............
Yes, we only had ONE move where we used movers because... WHOA! The other stuff we've had to do ourselves because of... WHOA! I feel for you! U-Haul all the way, baby! We are praying. Strap some paint brushes on your oldest two and go to town. We are very excited for you too. I was telling a friend I was thrilled at the possibility of you guys moving closer (she doesn't know you) and she said, "Ooh, I'd like to visit that area. They have this really cool museum I want to go to. You should go if you visit those friends." I laughed, but didn't say anything else! :)
ReplyDeleteMy goodness - what a crazy, busy time you are having - but it sounds a bit exciting too. I am praying all goes well for you that the house will sell and you will find what you need when you get there - The Lord surely has something amazing planned for you. He has led you through so much and I am sure He is working things out for you now. Congrats on the new job Ben. I am excited for you as you go into this new adventure. It is just getting there that will be making your life interesting for the next while.
ReplyDeleteI would offer to come help paint but Uncle E used to always tell me to go to the store when he was painting so I guess that tells you my skills.
