During our family devotions, we have started singing our 'family' song Complete in Thee.
As the title states, it is a song that talks about the Christian's completeness in Christ. Hope you enjoy!!
Chorus words:As the title states, it is a song that talks about the Christian's completeness in Christ. Hope you enjoy!!
Yea, justified, oh blessed thought!
And sanctified salvation wrought!
Thy blood hath pardon bought for me,
and glorified I, too, shall be.

Hi
ReplyDeleteReally nice hymn but should change the line, each want supplied, to each need supplied. Your friendly critic
Dad.
What beautiful lyrics to this song...thanks for posting it:0)
ReplyDeleteThis song is very catchy. Your Dad and I are enjoying listening to it. Though I must say we changed (wants) to (needs.) We like it. Love you sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. That is great that you have a family song for your devotion time!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the songwriter was basing his lyrics on the verse Psalm 37:4 "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart"
ReplyDeleteWhen we seek our happiness in Christ, our 'desires' or 'wants' will be those things which are proper for Him to grant :) Just a thought!
Hi
ReplyDeleteYou could be right. the major point of psalm 37 seems to be that the wicked's prosperity is short lived. Funny that the writer would pick that psalm.
