I didn't realize birds liked to sunbathe! This silly woodpecker was basking in the sun, sprawled out on the ledge of the deck. It was soooo funny. I actually thought he was dead at first. He didn't mind me taking pictures of him, but I guess he got fed up with the interruption and flew off. That is just too funny :)

yes, they are very entertaining!! No, I haven't celebrated my birthday yet...whenever I get around to making the ice cream cake we'll have the family over :) I'll be posting my most recent cake tomorrow!!
